WATER WORKS: University at Buffalo PHD candidate David Stewart, left, shows a group of Lewiston-Porter students how water samples they took from locations in Lewiston were tested in a state-of-the-art Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry. The students used the device to test for pharmaceuticals and personel care products in area water. The students, from left, are Kate Wolf, Saspreet Kaur, Kaitlyn Wilson, Emily Marra, Benjamin Stayner, Collin Kemeny and Zachary Hayes.
