Truman Partridge stands in front of the remains of a Bell P-39 Airacobra — just like the one he is seeking — at the Ira B. Ross Aerospace Museum located at the former Bell Aerospace building on Niagara Falls Boulevard. The P-39s were built by Bell. The one Partridge is standing in front of was pulled out of a Russian lake in 2004. The pilot had shot down seven enemy planes before he crashed into the lake. The plane Partridge is currently seeking, crashed during a test run into Lake Ontario
