Police: 2 found shot to death in western NY home

ALDEN, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the shooting deaths of two people whose bodies were found in a western New York home.

The Erie County Sheriff's Department say family members found the bodies of a man and a woman late Monday night at the home in Alden, 20 miles east of Buffalo.

Authorities haven't released the names of the deceased but believe they were married.

Deputies tell Buffalo television station WIVB that they're not searching for any suspects at this time.

A sheriff's detective confirmed the deaths Tuesday morning but said no other information was immediately available.

Do you agree with District Attorney Michael Violante’s decision to grant a plea deal to Sara Donovan, 23, the daughter of a North Tonawanda councilwoman, allowing her to avoid a DWI charge?

Yes. I believe the district attorney was acting in the “interest of justice” in agreeing to the plea deal.
No. Connect the dots — this decision was all about politics.
Don’t care. Aren’t plea deals offered to those charged with a crime all the time?
