SLIDESHOW: Niagara Falls Boulevard accident
Niagara Falls firefighters work to rescue a female driver inside a rolled-over Dodge 4X4 truck involved in an accident Thursday evening at the corner of 66th Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard. The truck apparently collided head-on with another vehicle before flipping over on its side and trapping the woman upside down. Emergency personnel managed to get the woman out by cutting open the passenger’s side door. She and a passenger in the other vehicle were taken by ambulance to the Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Their injuries were unknown Thursday night. The corner was blocked off to traffic for more than 30 minutes as close to 100 people watched the rescue.
