Jennie H. Pasqualichio

Jennie H. Pasqualichio, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Thursday December 20, 2007 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY after a brief illness. Born in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Grazia “Grace” (Giordano) Pasqualichio, and the step-daughter of the late Maria Pasqualichio.

After moving from Pennsylvania with her family, Jennie attended local Niagara Falls schools including Ferry Avenue, South Junior and Niagara Falls Senior High School, graduating in 1943. Following a brief career at Bell Aerospace during World War II, Jennie worked for the next thirty-nine years in various positions at E.I. DuPont de Nemours in Niagara Falls where she retired in 1985. Since retirement from DuPont, Jennie remained active and continued to work as a tax preparer for H &R; Block. She was an avid quilter and her many quilts will be cherished by her family and friends. Jennie was also active with various reunion events for her high school graduating class and enjoyed several trips to her family's native Italy. Jennie was a member of St. Leo's Church, but most of all she will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends.

Jennie is survived by her son, David A. (Elizabeth) Stebbins of Buffalo, NY; her grandchildren, John and Emily of Buffalo, NY; her cousin and best friend, Pauline Bonghi, of Niagara Falls; three brothers, Anthony (late Sandra) Pasqualichio, Michael (Debbie) Pasqualichio and Vincent Pasqualichio all of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Josephine (late Charles) Musso of Bath, NY and Philomena (Casey) Zygmont of the Town of Niagara, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins, including her cousin Nicholas Bonghi of Niagara Falls, NY.

Friends may call on Sunday from 1 - 3 and 6 - 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday December 24th at 10 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. David Griffin officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
