NIAGARA FALLS —
A new group called HYDRO Niagara Falls is holding its first meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 26) at the Giacomo Hotel, 222 First St.
Founders Jeff Deming, manager of the hotel and Kristin Meyer, are hoping the organization will become a sort of brain trust for all those who want to promote something new and exciting in the community.
Deming said that HYDRO NF stands for happening, youthful, driven, reinventing our Niagara Falls.
“There’s a bunch of us that feel a positive groundswell of new things are going on,” Deming said. “Our thought was just to get everybody together and say ‘here’s what I want to do,’ or ‘here’s what I have going on.’ ”
There will be appetizers served, with live music afterward and a cash bar.
