The Lewiston Council on the Arts is once again presenting lots of free great music with its Blue Mondays, Summer of ’69, the Lewiston Jazz Project and International Fridays. All concerts are free.
The Lewiston Jazz Project features the New Upstate Express every week. Directed by Ron Corsaro, the band performs original as well as classic jazz repertoire, swing and modern jazz accompanied by guest artists. The shows start Thursday and run through August at 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the Hennepin Park Gazebo at the corner of 4th and Center streets.

Summer of ’69 tunes in, turns on and reunites at the region’s grooviest summer happening of the year! Summer of ’69 features some of Lewiston's favorite rock bands from the ’60s including the Loved Ones, County Orphanage and the Invaders. Grammy award winner, Gary Baker is coming, too! Can you feel the love? Shows begin July 16 and run Fridays at Hennepin Park Gazebo starting at 6 p.m.

Blue Mondays are considered some of the best blues presented in Western New York. Past recipient of the prestigious Muddy Award, this eagerly awaited series started out as a single Monday concert 15 years ago. Now, a series of six concerts featuring the very best regional blues, the event attracts a faithful following of blues lovers from all over WNY and Canada.
All concerts start at 7 p.m. at the Hennepin Park Gazebo.
