Teen arrested on three sexual charges in Tonawanda

Niagara Gazette — A Buffalo teen was arrested in the City of Tonawanda Tuesday on three felony sexual advance charges, according to police.

Eugene Williams, 19, of North Hampton Road, Buffalo, was arrested at 7 p.m. for first-degree criminal sexual act, first-degree sexual abuse and attempted rape.

Williams and a 20-year-old City of Tonawanda female had been talking on the social networking site Meet Me for about two months when the pair decided to meet in person.

Williams went to the female's apartment, where police said he attempted to force himself on the young woman.

"He meet the girl on the computer, and they were chit chatting," Lt. Fredric Foels said. "He took it a little too far."

The incident occurred Nov. 7 and the arrest was made after an investigation was completed by detectives.

Williams was arraigned Tuesday night following the arrest. Judge Joseph Cassata set $100,000 bail.

Williams is due back in court Monday for a felony hearing.
