• DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Mohammed J. Parwani, 39, 1932 LaSalle Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday. While on patrol, an officer noticed an argument with a crowd gathering in the 1000 block of 19th Street. Parwani was standing on the sidewalk, yelling and swinging his arms at a taxi driver. Despite numerous requests to calm down, Parwani continued to yell and throw his arms toward the driver.
• PETIT LARCENY: Between 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday a guest reported $120 in U.S. currency and $60 in Canadian currency was taken from her hotel room in the 300 block of Sixth Street. There were no signs of forced entry, according to police reports.
• GRAND LARCENY: A stereo amp, subwoofers and stereo cable set were taken from a vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of 74th Street between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. The value of the items is $1,870.
Town of Lockport
• LARCENY: An employee of Wal-Mart on South Transit Road reported Tuesday that on June 28, a man bought an HP Pavilion computer and then returned it three hours later. On Tuesday, it was discovered that several items were stolen from inside the computer before it was returned. The items, including six gigabytes of RAM, a hard drive and a processor, are worth about $700, the report said.

• HARASSMENT: An Edwards Avenue woman told deputies Tuesday that she was at a gas station on Lockport-Olcott Road when an acquaintance approached the car she was in and spit on her head.
Town of Tonawanda
• PEDDLING: Dwayne C. Warren, 29, and George Clark Jr., 34, were charged with peddling without a permit at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the two were selling steaks out of the back of a pickup. Both were released on appearance tickets.
