• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a reported burglary in the 500 block of 26th Street. The victim, a 23-year-old man, told officers between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday, an unknown person entered his residence and took a Playstation 3 video game system, five games and two laptop computers. When asked by police, the victim informed them he hadn't locked his door. The total value of the missing property is estimated at $1,450.
• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a reported burglary in the 400 block of Fourth Street. The victim, a 54-year-old woman, told officers at approximately 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, police were called to the residence for a reported suspicious noise and found no evidence of a problem. However, she said, both her laptop and tablet computers have been missing. The total value of the property is $453.
• THEFT: Officers are investigating a reported theft from a laundromat in the 9500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. The victim, a 44-year-old Falls man, told police at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, he left various clothing items in the dryer and when he returned, they were gone. The owner told officers security cameras caught the incident on tape and a copy was being made. The footage reportedly shows an unknown white couple removing the laundry, which the victim estimates is worth $1,200.
• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft in the 9000 block of South Military Road. The victim, a 43-year-old man, said between 8 p.m. Friday and 10:50 a.m. Saturday, someone stole three bicycles from inside his shed. There were no witnesses to the crime, officers reported.
• THEFT: Officers are investigating a reported theft from an automobile parts store in the 7600 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. An employee of the store told police at 6 p.m. Friday, a young man entered the store trying to return a bottle of antifreeze. When he was denied, the employee said the man walked around the store for a bit before slipping a tail pipe cover under his shirt and left without paying. The employee provided a license plate to the vehicle the man left in but officers said the registered owner of the vehicle is much older than the person described.
