TOWN OF NIAGARA —
Officers are looking for a suspect in a purse snatching incident in a store lot in the 7200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A 54-year-old woman told police she was in the store at 3:02 p.m. Thursday and suddenly noticed her purse was missing from her shopping cart.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Portage Road at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Ronald Edward Proctor, 53, 442 Seventh St., was charged with petit larceny. He’s accused of taking more than $84 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1700 block of Walnut Avenue. A 21-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 10 a.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. Thursday, someone broke into her home through an unlocked rear door. The victim said a Wii games system, several video games, a digital camera, a 32-inch flatscreen TV, a pair of gold earrings, some cash and food from her freezer were taken.
