BLOTTER: Police reports published Oct. 17

— Niagara Falls

ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after a traffic stop at Willow Avenue and 24th Street at 12:36 a.m. Tuesday. James Lacy Kemp II, 30, 3208 Hyde Park Blvd., was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered vehicle and an equipment violation.

ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Cleveland Avenue at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. John Charles Woodley, 51, 2422 Cleveland Ave., was charged with driving while intoxicated, unreasonable speed, failure to signal turn, two counts of failure to stop at a stop sign and an equipment violation.

THEFT: Police are investigating a truck break-in in the 2700 block of Whitney Avenue. A 53-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7:45 a.m. Monday someone broke into her 2005 Chevy Silverado pickup by unknown means. The victim said a GPS system was taken.

THEFT: Officers are looking into an SUV break-in in the 1200 block of 94th Street. A 76-year-old man told police that sometime between 1 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday someone broke into his 2003 Jeep Liberty by unknown means. The victim said personal papers and some cash was taken.
