• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary and car break-in in the 800 block of 16th Street. A 26-year-old woman told officers sometime between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Tuesday, someone broke into her garage by kicking in the door. Once inside, they broke into her 1999 Cadillac Escalade by smashing a rear window. The victim said two 15-inch speakers, two headrest TVs, a GPS system and a radio were taken. The woman said someone then broke into her home by breaking a window on the back door. She told police a laptop computer and $150 was taken from the house.
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1800 block of Linwood Avenue. A property manager said sometime between 10 a.m. Saturday and 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, someone broke into a vacant home by forcing open the front door. The manager said nothing was taken.
• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1600 block of Walnut Avenue. A property manager said sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, someone broke into a vacant home by unknown means. The manager said 30 feet of copper pipe was taken.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after he caused a disturbance in the 300 block of 71st Street. William Edward Brown, 22, 2914 Lockport Road, was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration. Brown is accused of fighting with police as they attempted to take him into custody.

• FRAUD: A Lake Road resident told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies that he went to First Niagara Bank and found $1,100 in unauthorized withdrawals on his account, reportedly made by a suspect who may be from Hawaii.
Ransomville
• LARCENY: A resident of Heritage Manor told deputies someone entered his room and took a PlayStation 3 and several games estimated at $450. The incident is under investigation.
