BLOTTER: Police reports published Feb. 8

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from a store in the 800 block of Portage Road. A 20-year-old woman told police she was shopping at the store at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday and put her backpack down on a rack of shopping carts. The victim said when she went to get it, it was gone. The backpack contained a laptop computer and three text books.

 
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a theft from a store in the 800 block of Portage Road at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday. Kari Lynn Weston, 42, 2413 Cleveland Ave., was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. She is accused of stealing a backpack that contained a laptop computer and some text books.

 
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a theft from a store in the 7300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. Gina Roxanne Miller, 47, 7900 Niagara Falls Blvd. Apt. 104, was charged with petit larceny. Miller is accused of taking ice cream, peanuts and beer worth more than $69 without paying for the items.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic violence incident in the 500 block of 27th Street at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Matthew Ian McNiff, 27, 551 27th St., was charged with third-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment, second-degree aggravated harassment, second-degree harassment, fourth-degree stalking, endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny.
