BLOTTER: Police reports published Dec. 4

Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after an assault in an apartment in the 400 block of Memorial Parkway. Leaorn Burch, 29, 442 Memorial Parkway, upper, was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree burglary. Burch is accused of breaking through the door to a neighbor’s home and assaulting him with a knife. The neighbor suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds to his face and shoulder.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving charges after a traffic stop in the 7200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 2:45 p.m. Sunday. Stephen Roberts, 27, 8010 Hickory Lane, was charged with driving while intoxicated.  

 
Porter

 
• ARREST: A Youngstown man was arrested after he was caught trying to break into a Town of Porter home. Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call on Ulrich Drive, at 12:41 p.m. Monday after a resident called 911 to say she had spotted a man trying to enter her home by crawling through a kitchen window. The suspect fled the scene, but was picked up a short time later, walking down Route 93 near the Robert Moses Parkway. Steven C. Lewis, 24, 427 Third St., was charged with attempted second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
