• ASSAULT: Police are investigating an assault in the 2700 block of Forest Avenue. A 14-year-old girl told officers she was walking home from school at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday when she was attacked by two other girls. The victim said she was repeatedly punched and kicked.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on a drug charge. Christopher Lewis, 31, 3050 Niagara St., was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police said they saw Lewis at 15th Street and Whitney Avenue at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday, smoking a blunt. He also had three baggies containing marijuana in his possession.
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 600 block of Tronolone Place. A 28-year-old woman told police sometime between 11:15 and 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, someone broke into her apartment by kicking in the rear door. The victim said $800, two gold necklaces, two gold charms, gold earrings and $40 worth of Lotto tickets were taken.
