BLOTTER: Police reports published Dec. 12

Niagara Falls

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 800 block of 20th Street. A 48-year-old man told officers that sometime between 2 p.m. Sunday and 4:30 a.m. Monday, someone broke into his home by forcing open a basement window. The victim said a television and a PlayStation 3 gaming system were taken.
 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic incident in the 500 block of Sixth Street at 11:30 a.m. Monday. Qumane Regis Dykes, 22, 510 Sixth St. Apt. 1-2, was charged with attempted third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.
 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1200 block of Pine Avenue at 2:10 p.m. Monday. Stanley Leroy Whitfield, 48, 1314 Ashland Ave. Apt. 4, was charged with petit larceny. Whitfield is accused of taking more than $92 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

 
• ARRESTS: Two Niagara Falls, Ont. women were arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 5 p.m. Monday. Sandra Gonzalez, 41, and Maydel Perez Rivas, 44, both of 6494 Culp St., were each charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. The pair are accused of taking more almost $370 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic incident in the 400 block of 26th Street at 7:45 p.m. Monday. Adam Thomas Ligammare, 26, 443 26th St., was charged with third-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
