9th Street apartment building damaged in fire

NIAGARA FALLS — Niagara Falls firefighters responded to a Wednesday morning fire at an apartment complex on the 3400 block of 9th Street.

The blaze originated in a third-floor apartment and was extinguished within 20 minutes of firefighters’ arrival at 7:48 a.m.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation and damage is listed at $5,000 to the building and $2,000 to its contents.
