BLOTTER: Police reports published Jan. 18

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 2400 block of Forest Avenue. An 84-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 4:20 p.m. Wednesday someone broke into her home by kicking in a side door. The victim said an Xbox 360 game system, an iPad and some cash was taken.
     
City of Lockport
• DWI: Michael J. Robinson, 35, 42 Rochester St., was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a screen test, speeding and failure to keep right Thursday. According to the report, officers observed a BMW traveling at a high rate of speed on South Transit Road at 12:18 a.m. Robinson was stopped at the Holiday Inn parking lot. He appeared intoxicated but refused to perform field sobriety tests.
