BLOTTER: Police reports published Oct. 9

Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drug and traffic charges. Asad Ron Hixon, 18, 3243 Dudley Ave., was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and speeding. Police said they stopped Hixon, at 10:11 a.m. Thursday for speeding in the 400 block alley between 19th and 18th streets. Officers said Hixon had 1.1 grams of crack cocaine in his possession at the time of the traffic stop.

Pendleton

• LARCENY: A John Street man reported to police Thursday that an unknown person entered his vehicle while it was in the parking lot of the Pendleton Town Court. The suspect took his Garmin GPS, valued at about $300 and $200 in cash from the vehicle, the report said. The victim said he thought the car was locked but could not be certain, and the report said there were no signs of forced entry.

Cambria

• THEFT: A student at the BOCES building on Saunders Settlement Road reported Thursday that someone had taken $17 from her wallet while they were in a classroom. Sheriff’s deputies said all students were searched by a principal but the money wasn’t found.
