• THEFT: Police are investigating a theft from an apartment in the 1300 block of South Avenue. The tenant told officers sometime between 7 a.m. Nov. 10 and midnight Friday his landlord let an unknown man into his apartment. The landlord told police the suspect told him he needed to enter the victim’s apartment because he had to retrieve some tools and building materials he had left there. The victim said a number of power tools, 10 DVDs, some prescription medications and “$5,500 that was hidden in a mattress” was taken.
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident. Tanya N. Jenkins, 34, 1015 Fairfield Ave. Apt. 3, was charged with petit larceny. She is accused of taking over $80 worth of merchandise from a drug store at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Portage Road.
• ARREST: A Falls teen was charged after a disturbance in the 1800 block of Michigan Avenue. Malique Laganne Page-Rogers, 17, 2425 Falls St., was charged with disorderly conduct. Police said they responded to a fight involving more than 50 people at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday and as they were dispersing the crowd, Page-Rogers began swearing at officers and refused to leave the area.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on a drug charge. Anthony Hill, Jr., 20, 2224 Michigan Ave., was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said Hill had a quantity of crack cocaine in his possession at 2 p.m. Tuesday when the car he was riding in was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1600 block of South Avenue.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on traffic violations, an outstanding warrant and a drug charge. Tyrell C. Riley, 22, 521 Memorial Parkway, was charged on a warrant for failure to pay a fine, no inspection, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana. After stopping Riley for the warrant and traffic charges, officers noticed “a gold string tied to (Riley’s) belt, sticking out of his waistband.” After taking Riley into custody, officers “pulled the string out from underneath (Riley’s) jeans and (discovered) it was a purple Crown Royal bag, containing 12 bags of green plant material.” The material field-tested positive for 12 grams of pot.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: The Niagara County Sheriff’s Department was called to Pit Stop Puppies on Niagara Falls Boulevard Tuesday for a report of criminal mischief. Three locks were broken off dog kennels causing about $30 in damage.
Ransomville
• BURGLARY: An estimated $75 worth of damage was done during a break-in at a Randall Road man’s residence on Tuesday. The caller told deputies than an unknown person entered his residence, but nothing was taken.
