The missing 12-year-old girl from Wyndham Lawn Youth Facility was found early Wednesday morning by Lockport Police.
During a routine patrol, Officer Marshall Belling, spotted a young female wandering the streets.
A police report said the officer pulled the girl over and asked her what she was doing out at 1:38 a.m.
The girl reportedly gave Belling a fake name.
Upon investigation, Officer John Nolan said she was the missing girl the school advised the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office about late Tuesday night.
