TOWN OF NIAGARA BLOTTER: Police reports published Nov. 20
ARREST: Kenneth E. Drake, 47, 2172 Seneca Ave., Niagara Falls, was arrested for petit larceny after shoplifting $88.60 worth of merchandise from Kmart on Nov. 8.
ARREST: David Clingersmith, 54, 724 16th St., was charged with driving while intoxicated after being observed accelerating quickly while pulling out of a parking lot on Military Road on Nov. 8. Clingersmith reportedly did not signal and moved abruptly to the passing lane. Police said he failed several sobriety tests and refused a Breathalyzer test.
ARREST: Sharmistha Gupta, 29, of Mississauga, Ont., was arrested for petit larceny after shoplifting $135.82 worth of merchandise from Kmart on Nov. 11.
ARREST: Kevin Betts, 23, 5029 Tuscarora Road, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after officers observed his vehicle swerving from lane to lane while driving southbound of Military Road on Sunday. Betts failed field sobriety tests and registered a blood alcohol level of 0.13 percent on a Breathalyzer test.
ARREST: William Wyatt, 50, 3154 Upper Mountain Road, Sanborn, was arrested for possession of marijuana, after a traffic stop on Tuscarora Road on Sunday.
ARREST: Patricia Harper, 39, 115 Rose St., Buffalo, was arrested for shoplifting $28.47 worth of merchandise from Kmart on Sunday.

Senior Investigator Joseph Commisso and Investigator Alan Harshany from the Seneca Niagara Casino and Trooper Joseph Raimondi from the State Police Niagara Barracks in the Town of Niagara were honored for their work with the U.S. Secret Service in helping break up a large scale identity theft ring.
