• CHARGED: Jerquan M. Moragne, 19, 1132 Fairfield Ave., was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest about 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to Falls police. Officers said a resident of 13th Street called to report hearing someone inside his garage. Police responded and surrounded the structure, opening up the main door. After ordering him out several times, officers said Moragne stood up from behind a pile of boxes and gave himself up. Moragne also faces charges of third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child for a domestic incident that happened a half hour earlier.
• THEFT: A 48-year-old 15th Street resident told police that sometime Tuesday night someone kicked in a door to his residence and took two leather coats and $100 in change from a large jug. Officers said they asked the man if he knew of anyone who could have committed the crime he replied anyone could’ve done it because everyone like his clothes. He added that he was the only person in the Falls to have one of the jackets stolen. The estimated loss is $330.
• THEFT: A 53-year-old 19th Street man told police someone entered his unlocked ’08 Chevy Cobalt and took a GPS unit from the glove box sometime Tuesday night. The estimated loss is $150.
• THEFT: A 47-year-old city woman told police someone took her purse from the front seat of her unlocked ’99 Chevy Blazer sometime Tuesday night. The woman said she had been using the car and had made a few stops throughout the city but never left the car for very long. The purse contained $150 and a pair of reading glasses.
• THEFT: A worker at an apartment complex on Ninth Street told police someone kicked in a door to a unit and took four 5-gallon cans of “Divine White” paint. The estimated loss is $500.
• VANDALISM: A 29-year-old resident of A Street told police someone smashed the windshield of his ’95 Chrysler New Yorker and slashed one of its tires Tuesday night. The man said he was relatively new in town and said he didn’t believe he had any enemies. The estimated damage was $600.

• CHARGED: Timothy J. Buncy, 57, Balmer Road, Youngstown, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and failure to keep right. Police pulled Buncy over in a traffic stop Tuesday for failure to keep right and said he appeared to be intoxicated. When asked if he was drinking, Buncy denied it, however, he admitted to having illegal drugs in his vehicle, the report said. Police said they found a substance that field-tested positive for cocaine.
