BLOTTER: Police reports published Oct. 16

— Niagara Falls

THEFT: Police are investigating an SUV break-in in the 500 block of 77th Street. An 82-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday someone broke into her 2008 Jeep Compass by unknown means. The victim said a GPS system, a laptop computer, a jacket and some lug nuts were taken.

THEFT: Officers are looking into a car break-in in the 1200 block of 90th Street. A 28-year-old woman told police that sometime between 2 and 11:30 a.m. Sunday someone broke into her unlocked 2011 Chevy Equinox and took a pair of designer sunglasses.

BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 500 block of Ninth Street. A 44-year-old man told officers that sometime between noon Thursday and 8 a.m. Sunday someone tried to break into his home through a rear door. The victim said two outside light fixtures were taken.

BURGLARY: Officers looking into a burglary in the 400 block of Ninth Street. A 53-year-old woman told police that sometime between 8:43 and 9 p.m. Saturday someone broke into her home by forcing open a rear door. The victim said two TVs, some bedding and a laptop computer was taken.

ARREST: A Falls man was arrested for drunken driving after a property damage accident in the 8400 block of West Rivershore Drive at 5:58 p.m. Saturday. Joshua Lee Zellner, 31, 7714 West Rivershore Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated.
