BLOTTER: Police reports published Nov. 12

Niagara Falls

ASSAULT: Police arrested two teens in connection with an assault on another teen Sunday morning. A 17-year-old told officers he and a friend were eating in a fast food restaurant at 11:45 a.m., when four teenaged males approached and one of them stole their food. The teen and his friend chased after the suspects and confronted them in the 1500 block of Pine Avenue. One of the suspects threw a brick at one of the victim's cars and a fight followed. During the fight, one of the suspects pulled out a folding knife and slashed one of the victims. D'Shalen M. Walls, 16, 711 Augustus Place, was charged with second-degree assault. Another teen suspect was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny. 

THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from the 1800 block of 18th Street. A 79-year-old woman told police she had a flat tire on her car at 9 p.m. Saturday night and when she returned to the vehicle at 3 p.m. Sunday, someone had broken into it by unknown means. The victim said a bag of clothes was taken.

THEFT: Police are investigating a theft from an apartment building in the 900 block of Cedar Avenue. An 89-year-old woman told officers she was going into her apartment at 11:10 a.m. Sunday when a female suspect approached her and asked if she could use the woman's bathroom and get a drink. The victim said she let the suspect into her apartment and several hours later discovered that four rings had been taken.
