• ARREST: A Falls teenager was arrested after a fight in the 1000 block of 19th Street Wednesday afternoon. Christopher Hosey, 17, 1008 19th St., was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct. Police said Hosey refused to stop blocking traffic by walking in the middle of the street and then swore at officers.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 3000 block of Livingston Avenue. Officers responded to an alarm at a home and found both a side window and a door window smashed. The homeowner said nothing appeared to have been taken.

• ARRESTS: Two Falls men were arrested on drug charges. Michael Merchant 48, 930 Niagara Ave., Apt. 9, and Khalif Swanson, 46, 1723 Willow Ave., Apt. 2, were each charged with first-degree loitering and unlawful possession of marijuana. Roving Anti-Crime Unit officers said they spotted Merchant and Swanson rolling a marijuana-laced cigar at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in a truck parked in the 1100 block of Niagara Avenue.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested on prostitution-related charges. Angelina Herkey, 22, 2231 Falls St., Apt. 4, was charged with loitering for the purpose of prostitution. Roving Anti-Crime Unit officers said they saw Herkey flagging down cars in the 2200 block of Niagara Street at 1:16 p.m. Wednesday.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested on drug-related charges. Bethany Hannaford, 31, 2420 Orleans Ave., was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to signal turn and cracked windshield. Police said when they stopped Hannaford for the traffic infractions in the 400 block of 18th Street at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. Police said she had a crack pipe, a quantity of crack cocaine and a prescription pain pill in her possession.

• ARRESTS: Two students at the 60th Street School were arrested after a fight there Wednesday morning. Tarale T. Haugabook, 17, 1961 Welch Ave., Apt. 2, and Edward Morris Bloom, 18, 623 30th St., were each charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. After fighting with each other, they reportedly broke the glasses of a teacher who was trying to break up the fight.

• PETIT LARCENY: A Ransomville man told police Monday that while he was bowling someone stole a gold watch and a gold chain from his jacket pocket between 6:30 and 9:58 p.m. The police report said the victim appeared to be intoxicated. The missing items were a Bulova gold watch, valued at $350, and a $150 gold chain. Security tapes did not show anyone near the victim’s jacket while he was bowling, police said.
