Niagara Gazette —

A clerk at a convenience store on the 2600 block of Niagara Street told police that about 3:30 a.m. Monday two black men, both about 5-foot-8 and wearing black winter jackets with the hoods tied so only their eyes were visible, entered the store adn went straight for the counter.

When they reached the clerk, one of the men pulled out a handgun and said, “Open the drawer and take everything out of the register.”

When the clerk handed over the roughly $100 from the register, the gunman told him to open the safe but the clerk said he didn't have a key.

The second masked men grabbed about $30 in Newport cigarettes and a $1.50 bag of Swedish fish.

Police said the two bandits also made off with two empty bank deposit bags.

Falls investigators were working with the store owner to view surveillance video of the incident.
