BUSINESS: Rosanna's Jewelry & Accessories now in three area locations.

Niagara Gazette — When they started their business in 2010, the two Niagara Falls sisters simply wanted a project they could do together. What they got was a little business that allows them to spend time gathering beautiful jewelry and sharing it with family and friends.

Plus, the twin graduates of Niagara Falls High School, who have been at each other’s side most of their lives, get to spend even more time together.

“It’s wonderful,” said Rosa Zito, who with her sister Anna Bongiovanni, own Rosanna’s Jewelry and Accessories. “It’s like always having your best friend with you.”

“It’s wonderful to be able to do this together,” agreed her sister, Anna. And it’s good that the pair likes being together as they are almost nearly booked with house parties until Christmas.

The women, who offer all types of affordable jewelry largely through vending at events and at home parties, have expanded their business to three permanent locations. Their jewelry can now be found at Studio One, 3024 Niagara St., Salón Diaz, 4613 Military Road, and in the gift shop at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. They also offer fundraising events where they will provide15 percent of the proceeds to the charity of the hostess’s choice.

“We try to keep it very affordable because people like costume jewelry but they don’t like to spend a lot of money on it,” said Rosa. “They like to change their looks with different jewelry.”

They will be participating in a fundraiser to benefit Ronald McDonald House at Strong Memorial for Down syndrome patients from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday the Market House Steaks and Spirits, 1701 Pine Ave.

They will also be selling their jewelry from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

For more information visit their Facebook page at Rosannas Jewelry and Accessories or call 308-1321 or 510-2347.
