Photo streams from Sunday Lifestyle
Here are the personal photography collections of many of the subjects interviewed for this week's Sunday Lifestyle section:
Dave Rogge's Flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tgtsfkncld/
Rogge maintains the North Tonawanda group, which has garnered more than 100 photos of the Lumber City. His own shots show his interest in all things NT, from Canal Fest to Webster Street-scapes.
Victoria Bush's Flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/victoriabush/
Bush took the shot of the puffer fish used in this week's Sunday Lifestyle section, and was invited by Rogge to add it to the North Tonawanda group. Hailing from Monroeville, Penn., Bush said she often travels with a fish-loving friend to Toastmaster events, and so stops by aquariums across the Northeast.
MJ Worthington's Flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/underneatheverything/
MJ has been honing his photography chops ever since he joined the Buffalo Hike Club -- through Yahoo! Groups -- and noticed a fellow hiker with "a very nice camera." One and a half years later, he shoots with his own digital single lens reflex camera, or DSLR, and has learned a myriad of ways to tone and correct his work, which he credits entirely to fellow Flickr users.
Kevin Pletcher's Flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kango/
Pletcher finds different angles on sights in and around Western New York, taking everyday scenes like the Grand Island bridges and casting new frames on them.
James Stewart's Flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/alphageek//
A Lexington, Ky. resident whose picture Sunny Side Up won a coveted "front page" space on Flickr. His pictures from his Niagara Falls trip show a similar flair.
