NIAGARA FALLS —
The Niagara Falls area has always been known for its generosity to those in need.
Saturday is an opportunity to reach out to those who are hungry during the National Letter Carriers annual Food Drive. The letter carriers, working in collaboration with the United Way of Niagara, the AFL-CIO, the U.S. Postal Service and many volunteers will collect and distribute food items to area food pantries that serve those in need.
Many people are experiencing a crunch during these difficult times. If each household will give a small bag of non-perishable food items, the accumulated amount will enable local pantries to help many families in need. We, at Heart & Soul, and the other emergency pantries depend upon your generosity.
We thank the letter carriers for their spirit of service as they double their workload on Saturday. Please pitch in and help hungry families in Niagara Falls.
