“Fresh Food for the Falls,” a green gardening workshop series will be presented in February through April by ReNu Niagara.
The series will include organic gardening practices for those who are beginning a garden or interested in learning to “green” their garden and make it more earth friendly.
“It’s an opportunity for residents to learn a little bit more about organic gardening and to try to get more people to participate in community gardening,” said Lacey Severson of ReNu Niagara which is Niagara University’s community outreach and partnership center.
The classes are free and run Feb. 6 through April 24 at either the Niagara Falls Housing Authority Doris W. Jones Family Center, 3001 9th St., Niagara Falls or the Henry J. Kalfas Magnet Elementary School, 1800 Beech Avenue.
