NIAGARA FALLS —
A Niagara Falls man was killed early this morning in an industrial accident at a plant on Packard Road.
Niagara County Coroner Cindy-Lou Joyce said Peter Q. Neville, 40, of Morley Avenue, was crushed to death while working on a line that handles several thousand pound paper rolls at Norampac Industries.
Joyce said the incident occurred just after 4:30 a.m. An ambulance was called to the scene, but Joyce said the victim died before he could be transported to the hospital.
“It was a tragic accident,” Joyce said.
Additional information will be released as it is made available.
