Bar fight leads
to two arrests
A fight in the early morning hours Saturday outside the Dome Stadium bar on Main Street led to a brother and sister being arrested.
Nicholas J. Gregori, 25, 370 Lawrence Ave., upper, Buffalo was charged with disorderly conduct and his sister, Santina M. Gregori, 23, 1287 Tanglewood Drive, North Tonawanda, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Police responded to a fight call at the bar about 5 a.m. and when they arrived, found Nicholas Gregori bleeding from a cut under his eye. Gregori said he had confronted three men in a car who Gregori believed had stolen his sister’s wallet.
Police asked Gregori and his sister if they would provide a description of the suspects and whether he wanted to press charges.
Both Nicholas and Santina were highly intoxicated, according to the report, and became belligerent with officers. After being warned several times to keep his voice down and refrain from using obscenities, officers placed Nicholas Gregori under arrest for disorderly conduct. As they were placing him in handcuffs, Santina Gregori grabbed the officer’s arm. She was then placed under arrest as well.
Nicholas Gregori was released on an appearance ticket. Santina Gregori was held for court.
Niagara Falls
• PETIT LARCENY: Between 4 p.m. Friday and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, CDs, $4 in coins and a prescription for hydrocodone were taken from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the 4600 block of Hyde Park Boulevard.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A victim told police someone flattened three tires on her vehicle, which was parked in the 500 block alley of 25th Street, between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 2:08 p.m. Saturday. The victim found two-inch cuts in two of the tires.
• GRAND LARCENY: A woman told police she accidentally left her purse in a shopping cart at Pine Plaza, 8200 Niagara Falls Blvd., between 12:30 and 2:14 a.m. Saturday. When she returned to the area, the purse was missing. It contained cash, credit cards, her driver's license and personal papers. The total value was listed at $116.
• ROBBERY: A woman was robbed at 9:18 a.m. Saturday while sitting on a bench at Fourth and Niagara streets. The victim told police a man took her purse, which was on her shoulder and took off running in the alley between Fourth and Fifth streets.
• PETIT LARCENY: A suspect took a 30-pack of Budweiser at 12:50 a.m. Saturday from a store in the 6800 block of Buffalo Avenue. The beer was valued at $25.
• PETIT LARCENY: Between 11 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, someone removed the stereo from a vehicle while it was parked in the 600 block alley of 29th Street. The suspect also took an amplifier and speaker box. The vehicle's electrical system was also damaged during the break-in. Total damage was listed at $470.
• PETIT LARCENY: Someone took $5 in change from the ashtray of a vehicle while it was parked in the 400 block of Third Street between 1 and 9 a.m. Saturday.
• ROBBERY: At 1:45 a.m. Saturday, the victim told police he was walking east on Ferry Avenue around 18th Street when a man asked him for a cigarette. The victim told the suspect he didn't have any cigarettes. The suspect then told the victim to give him all his money or he would kill him. The victim handed the suspect $6. The suspect then took off running toward Niagara Street.
• BURGLARY: Between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 p.m. Friday, someone took a freezer and a grill from a garage in the 2400 block of Grand Avenue. The value of the items was listed at $200.
• PETIT LARCENY: A person told police that someone stole the keys to her residence in the 400 block of 17th Street. She said she accidentally left the keys in the door.
• ROBBERY: A victim told police he was walking in the 900 block of Walnut Avenue around 7 p.m. Friday when a man jumped at him out of the alley between Ninth and 10th streets. The victim said the man pointed a semi-automatic pistol at him and said "give me all your (expletive) money." The victim handed the suspect $45 and the suspect took off running.
