NIAGARA FALLS —

CLICK FOR SLIDESHOW

Ore Lean Simmons says that people call her the Hat Lady. That's because at the age of 10 she started wearing hats, and for the last 28 years, she’s been wearing a hat to work as proprietor of Shauntae’s Hat’s & Fashions on Main Street. There she sells men’s and women’s socks , belts, pantyhose, belts, jewelry, suites, does alterations and of course sells hats. “Business is not good all the time, but I love doing this thing, she said,” this being her second location on Main Street. If success were measured by how happy her hats make her, Ore Lean Simmons is a rich woman. “ I wear hats all the time, even if I got a pair of blue jeans on, I got a hat on.”
