Paul D. Milks

Paul D. Milks, age 93, of Barker, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Erie County Medical Center. Born August 8, 1915 in Machias, NY, he was the son of the late Jay and Ada (nee Law) Milks. Paul married Dorothy Menges June 28, 1941 in Lorain, Ohio. She died November 17, 1991. Paul worked as a machinist for Riley Gear in North Tonawanda. He retired in 1978. Paul was a member of the Barker Assembly of God, the 2 Cylinder Club and enjoyed auctioneering. He had lived in Barker the past 29 years, previously of Pendleton, NY. He is survived by his children, Paula (Byron) Russell of Canton, Georgia, Pamela (Daniel) Lesniowski of Las Vegas, Nevada, Philip (Nancy) Milks of Tonawanda, Penelope (Keith) Carlson of Urbandale, Iowa, Diana (Paul) Miller of Wheatfield and Dennis (Anita) Milks of Lockport; brother of Emerson Milks of Scottsville, NY, Glenna Gregg of Arcade and the late Jessie Beach and Beatrice Rule. 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive him. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home with the Reverend David Hayes officiating. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport.
