Cute, but creepy, creatures visit aquarium

Niagara Gazette — Kids and critters make for a good time when Jeff Musial and his Nickel City Reptiles and Exotics visit the Aquarium of Niagara from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

A regular at the aquarium, Musial’s collection has grown over the years to include more snakes, reptiles and other cold- and warm-blooded animals. He also has appeared on the late night Jimmy Kimmel Show.

His menagerie of lizards, snakes, reptiles, amphibians and a few other surprises (maybe a rare fox, otter or porcupine?) are sure to amaze and entertain. Show times are 12:30, 2 and 3:30 p.m.

Critter encounters will be held in the second level Community Room. Regular sea lion demonstrations will be held in the main pool throughout the afternoon. The aquarium’s own seahorses, poison dart frogs, octopus, sea lions, seals, penguins and more are also on display.

As always, members are admitted free. The Reptile Experience is included in the aquarium’s regular admission for non-members.

Aquarium hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults; $6 for children and $8 for seniors. Children 2 and under are free.

For more information regarding this event or any others at the aquarium, call 285-3575, ext. 206.
