NIGHT & DAY: Women in the Arts Exhibition: Celebrating Women’s History Month

Art is being sought for an art exhibition to showcase women artists from Western New York and Southern Ontario at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center.

The exhibit will represent a wide range of artistic mediums including two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art.

Visitors will be able to take art they purchase at the end of the exhibition.

The opening reception for the exhibition will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Feb. 12. The NACC gift shop will be open and artists will be encouraged to display associated note cards, prints etc. for sale.

Work must be original and for sale.

Two-dimensional works must be framed and wired for installation.

Three-dimensional works must have a clean, non-abrasive base or be mounted on a pedestal.

The maximum number that will be displayed for the exhibit will be four pieces per artist.

An entry fee of $25 will be charged for the first two pieces and $10 per additional piece up to four pieces.

Art can be dropped off during NACC hours, including today and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
