NIAGARA FALLS —
Hot or cold, rain or snow, nothing will keep the Aquarium of Niagara from holding its annual fundraiser “SEAsonings — The Original Taste of Niagara” from 6 to 9 p.m. March 1 at the Whirlpool Street facility.
It’s the winter event you won’t want to miss. Even if “the weather outside is frightful,” it’s sure to be delightful inside as aquarium guests taste fine wines and sample delectable foods from area restaurants, wineries and other vendors.
This mouth-watering benefit for the aquarium and its living collection also will feature music by Premier Sound with DJ Pat Proctor. Turner Construction will present a basket and silent auction table with great prizes from regional merchants, including jewelry from George Edwards Jewelers.
SEAsonings tickets are $45 per person.
Food samplings will be provided by Delaware North, Hard Rock Café, Lebro’s Restaurant, NCCC Culinary Arts Program, Red Coach Inn, Just Say Cheesecake, Quality Inn & Suites, The Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls, Trio’s Restaurant, TGIF of Niagara, The Village Bake Shoppe, Dick & Jenny’s Bake & Brew, Westby’s and Suzanne’s Fine Dining.
Participating wineries include Arrowhead Spring Vineyard, Heron Hill Winery, Warm Lake Estate and Wagner Vineyards. Other beverages will be provided by Certo Brothers Distributing and Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
Marli’s Florist will do floral designing for the event.
SEAsonings is sponsored by WJYE 96.1 FM, Greater Niagara Newspapers, and Niagara Frontier Publications. Tickets are available at the Aquarium, or call 285-3575, ext. 206, to reserve them.
Tickets will be available at the door, but if possible, please make reservations by Sunday For more information, call Gay Molnar at 285-3575, ext. 204.
