Hard Rock readies for PINKTOBER

Niagara Gazette — Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls will add a pop of pink this October in honor of the 13th annual Pinktober breast cancer awareness campaign. On Oct. 19, Hard Rock Cafe will host the third annual International PINKTOBER Living Ribbon and free outdoor concert featuring Belinda Carlisle.

Hard Rock Cafe, the Buffalo Bills, ECMC, KISS 98.5, the American Cancer Society and the Canadian Cancer Society have all come together to raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.

This year, the Hard Rock Cafe has partnered with the Buffalo Bills and their “Billieve” breast cancer awareness campaign. The event will benefit the American Cancer and Canadian Cancer Societies. The American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well by preventing cancer or detecting it early. The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community based organization of volunteers who mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life for people living with cancer.

Hard Rock’s commitment to breast cancer awareness and research continues throughout October with PINK menu offerings, “PINK Sheets Rooms,” and limited-edition merchandise benefiting a variety of charities including The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®, The Caron Keating Foundation (U.K.) and local breast cancer charities around the globe.

Hard Rock’s PINKTOBER gives fans the opportunity to show their promise to PINK throughout the month. Fans can visit their local Hard Rock and party for PINK, dancing the night away to the sounds of icons and rising stars to benefit local breast cancer organizations. Eat and drink PINK with Hard Rock’s non-alcoholic PINK drinks and dining on PINK menu offerings. Get noticed in stylish shades of PINK with Hard Rock’s PINKTOBER merchandise including the PINKTOBER 2012 T-shirt, bracelet, robe, PINK Sheets, pin and more. Proceeds from the sale of PINKTOBER products will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Caron Keating Foundation (U.K.) with 75 percent of the retail price of each pin and 15 percent of the retail price of other products going directly to the cause.
