Strawberry Shortcake, Gaelic Storm coming to Riviera

Niagara Gazette — Strawberry Shortcake with special guests The Doodle Bops will stop by the Historic Riviera Theatre for performances at 12:30 and 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for children. Strawberry Shortcake and her best friends debut in “Strawberry Shortcake: Follow Your Berry Own Beat.” This musical adventure takes the audience to the whimsical land of Berry Bitty City where the whole town is buzzing with anticipation for the Glitzy Glaze Talent Show! Follow Strawberry Shortcake and the rest of the girls as they each prepare for their moment in the spotlight. Hold on to your hats because that is not all! Gaelic Storm set for Feb, 22 show Gaelic Storm will play a show at the Riviera Theatre at 8 p.m. on Feb. 22 for one performance only. While Gaelic Storm plays Celtic music that hearkens back to the traditional music of Ireland, they are hardly traditionalist, adding modern sounds and drawing influences from American rock and pop as well as music styles from around the world. This is a band with its feet firmly planted in the present, appearing on two EA Sports Games and their song “Kiss Me I’m Irish” has been used in a Hallmark greeting card in 2008. The band has made countless television and radio appearances, and there are official videos and heaps of fan-posted live YouTube clips (Often with the crowd singing as loud as the band).
