Cheech and Chong back in the act, playing Riviera show
There have been some great duos in the history of comedy including Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, Burns and Allen, Lewis and Martin and The Smothers Brothers. At the top of many lists is the legendary comedy duo that is coming to North Tonawanda’s Riviera Theatre this Friday, Cheech and Chong. Chong’s wife, Shelby Chong, opens the show.

Whiskey Reverb on the rise again

Eight groups performing Friday at Gospel Fest
"Men in White," will be among the many gospel groups performing Friday a the Community Missions of Niagara Frontier's annual spring concert, "Gospel Fest" at First Baptist Church, 554 Main St., Niagara Falls.
Gospel Fest is in its 15th year of bringing an array of local Western New York performers to the stage. The goal is to bring the faith community together for a time of song, celebration and unity that encourages the community to work together to serve the poor, the marginalized, and the oppressed. A brief presentation of the work of Community Missions is offered during the concert.

Artpark lines up big names for big season
After announcing its Tuesday concerts would require paid admission last year, attendance never faltered. In 2013, Artpark officials are hopeful the same thing happens with its Wednesday shows.
