Dorothy Jean Danielewicz

SANBORN — Dorothy Jean Danielewicz, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on September 13, 2012, at the age of 71. She was peacefully surrounded by her loving husband, Flevie, of 40 years and adoring children. Jean was an extraordinary woman of strong faith and values who lived a humble life, which was devoted to nurturing her four children and working a family farm.

Starting from meager beginnings, Jean and Flevie worked hard on a small homestead farm in Sanborn before moving their operation to Wilson, NY, where they established one of the largest dairy farms in Western New York. Jean also enjoyed gardening, catalog shopping, practicing her faith and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed not only by her family, but by all those who called her mother.

Jean is survived by her husband, Flevie Danielewicz; devoted mother of Louise(Chad) Brachmann, Jason Danielewicz, Renee (Brian) Farrell and Christopher Danielewicz; loving grandmother of Olivia, Gavin, Jack, Sophia and Morgan; dear daughter of Viola Stahl; devoted sister of Norma Rehwaldt, late Robert Stahl, Charles and Arnold Stahl. The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the caring and supportive individuals at Niagara Hospice. Thank you for keeping our mother comfortable and at peace.

Private Funeral Services and Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery were held by the family. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. John de LaSalle Church, 8477 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, 14304. Friends invited. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY, 14094.
