NIAGARA FALLS —
Francis J. Pecoraro, 40, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away, unexpectedly, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Born on April 21, 1972 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Francis J. (Mary Jo) Moran of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Jeanette (nee Pecoraro) (late William) Cassatt.
Mr. Pecoraro was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. Franny, as he was known by family and friends, attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle High School in 1990. On September 12, 2009, he married the former Amanda "Mandy" Clark in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Pecoraro worked as a Machinist for Rus Industries and Ramsey Precision. Franny was a member of St. John de LaSalle Roman Catholic Church in Niagara Falls, NY. He enjoyed traveling, working on vehicles and home improvement projects. Above all, Mr. Pecoraro loved spending time with his children.
In addition to his father and loving wife, Mr. Pecoraro is survived by his children, Kyle Pecoraro; and his mother, Tanya Cumbo, both of Buffalo, NY, Katelyn Benns; and her mother, Erica Benns, both of Grand Island, NY, Kelsie and Kristopher Pecoraro; and their mother, Laurie Harrington, all of Alabama and Francis J. Pecoraro II and Marissa Pecoraro, both of Niagara Falls, NY; seven siblings, Lisa (William) LaSeur of Ohio, Kimberly (Bruce) Edwards of the Town of Niagara, NY, Jonathon Cassatt of Niagara Falls, NY, Patrick Moran of Niagara Falls, NY, Timothy Moran of Niagara Falls, NY, Tami Moran of Niagara Falls, NY and Brian Moran of Niagara Falls, NY; one step-sister, Kirsten Cassatt of North Tonawanda, NY; one step-brother, Gerald (Cathy) Cassatt of Buffalo, NY; loving grandparents and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, January 25th at 5:30 PM at Miss Bev's Dance Studio, 1814 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the family, c/o Francis J. Moran, 6030 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
