Leoma Rose Blount Grant

LEWISTON — Leoma Rose Blount Grant, 61, of Niagara Falls, passed away January 25, 2013 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY. Born April 29, 1951, the daughter of the late Leon and Alberta Blount.

Leoma was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She also attended local colleges. She had former employment with Carborundum, General Motors, Parmed, VIP and Harvard Drug.

She enjoyed gospel music, Buffalo Bills and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Franklin Grant; three children, Tesha Blount (Anthony) Feagin,  Dominique Hunter and Jamika Hunter; one son, Julian Rowe predeceased her; three sisters, Patricia Hall Blount Rankin, Bertha Blount, Mary Alice Blount (Frank) Terry; one sister, Diane Blount predeceased her. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Telisa, Anthony, Rashad, Lee, Calvin, Jayden, Jameir, Javeir, Deon, Mark, Mkye and Elijah; one godson, Michael Hicks and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation Friday 11 AM in the Word of Life Ministries, 1941 Hyde Park Blvd. Funeral to follow at Noon. Arrangements by WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME, 635 Main Street.
