Leo C. Dabrowski

ROCHESTER —  

Leo C. Dabrowski, February 19, 1917 - January 31, 2013. Age 95. Predeceased by his loving wife, Genevieve (1994); brother, Frank Dabrowski; parents, Andrew Dabrowski and Stella Marciniak from Niagara Falls, NY. Survived by sons, Thomas (Barbara) of Hilton NY, Jerome (Theresa) of Fairfax VA, Steven (Laura) of Tumwater WA, Brian (Lisa) of Dallas TX; grandchildren, Christine, Christopher (Mirjam), Blake, Jarek, Brad, Genevieve; many dear relatives, friends and Beach Ave. neighbors. A special thanks to the staff at St. John's Home for their care.
Leo was a Navy Veteran serving aboard the USS Maryland during the bombing of Pearl Harbor and in WW II. He married the love of his life, Genevieve, in Ovid, NY, in 1949. Retiree of Eastman Kodak in 1980. Leo had a passion for photography, gardening and his family.
Family and friends may call at Thomas Funeral Chapels, 4545 Lake Ave. on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to charity of one's choice.
