NIAGARA FALLS —
Evelyn K. Howard, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at her home. She was born in Fort Valley, GA, on July 15, 1958, the daughter of the late Wilmer and Ora Lee (Person) King.
Evelyn moved to Lockport, NY, in 1965 and graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1976. She moved to Niagara Falls in 1978. Evelyn was employed with various business in both Lockport and Niagara Falls and for the past 10 years with the Phoenix Frontier Corp. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping and playing bingo.
Evelyn is survived by her dear friend, Charlie Harris; four sons, Tyrone Howard, Charlie Harris, Darnell Aarrington and Joshua Frank Bailey; ten brothers, Willie Fred, Wilmer, Joelee, David, Robert, Gordon King, Jeffery, Eugene, Willie William and Willie Fred Williams; two sisters, Bernice (Curtis) Grant and Cherry (Fred) Williams. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louise Sutton and Connie King.
The family will be present on Saturday from 11-12:00 PM at Grace Community Missionary Baptist Church, 1562 Willow Avenue, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Arthur B. Todd officiating. Interment at Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, NY.
