Calvin Feagins, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012, in the VA Medical Center, Buffalo, NY.
He was born in Georgina, AL, on August 30, 1947, the son of the Jim and Alice (Singer) Feagins.
Mr. Feagins moved to Niagara Falls in 1948 and served with the US Navy. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music and traveling.
Mr. Feagins is survived by one son, Calvin Feagins; five daughters, Sonji (Norbert) Collins, Alice, Shawndalyn, Vandalyn and Olivia Feagins; three brothers, Eanzer, Jimmie, Ray Feagins; one sister, Lula Mae Collins; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Leslie Feagins, Pearl Green and Ina Barnes.
The family will be present on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the RHONEY FUNERALHOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services and military honors will be held at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Jesse J. Scott, Sr. officiating. Interment in Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY.
