Mary M. Trapasso

ALTA LOMA, CA — Mary M. Trapasso, 93, formerly of Lewiston, NY, passed away on December 29, 2012. Mrs.     Trapasso was born on March 9, 1919. She resided in both Niagara Falls, NY, Lewiston, NY and, most recently, Alta Loma, CA. She married Angelo T. Trapasso of Lewiston, NY, on October 19, 1935 in Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls.

Mrs. Trapasso co-owned and operated Trapasso's Tailoring and Cleaning on Ontario              Avenue, Niagara Falls, and later co-owned and operated Trapasso's Tuxedo Park until the late 1970s. She was a member and founder of our Lady of Fatima of Shrine and former member of the Century Club and St. Joseph's Church. In her spare time, Mrs. Trapasso enjoyed dancing and shopping.

She is survived by sons, Richard Trapasso of Alta Loma, CA and James Trapasso of Redlands, CA; grandchildren, Monique (Trapasso) Laufau, Nicole Trapasso, Lara Trapasso and Chantale (Trapasso) Noreen, all of whom reside in Orange County, CA, Peter Trapasso of San Francisco, CA, Jamie Trapasso of Sarasota, FL, Adrienne (Trapasso) Waugh of Amherst, NY. In addition, she is survived by five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 25, 2013, by Father Duane  Klizek at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
