Rebekah E. "Becky" Wagner

NIAGARA FALLS — Rebekah E. "Becky" (Reed) Wagner, 64 years old, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at her home, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. She was born on May 3, 1948 in Seneca Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Dayton and Jean (Speidel) Reed.

Mrs. Wagner moved to Niagara Falls in 1995. Late in life she met and married James Wagner, sharing a Christian marriage and a good life together. She enjoyed spending time with her     family, music, dancing, reading, perennial gardening, working crossword puzzles and her     antiques. Mrs. Wagner was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and was a member of the Church council, head of Christian education and co-chairman of their coffee hour.

Mrs. Wagner is survived by her husband, James Wagner; her son, Joshua J. (Amy) Olschewske of Seneca Falls, NY; her daughter, Wendy Olschewske of Niagara Falls; her stepsons, Kenneth (Angela) Wagner and Karl (Jill) Wagner, both of Niagara Falls; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her brothers, Robert (Caroline) Reed, Vann (Martha) Reed and Charles (Beatrice) Reed; and several nieces and nephews.              There is no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 12 Noon at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 2759 Military Road, Niagara Falls, officiated by Rev. Glen Richardson and Rev. Erwin Brese. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 2759 Military Road, or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
